Nielsen To Debut New Site, Will Offer Search, Other Functions

Nielsen Media Research, which has poured millions in the past year into a major marketing makeover, Tuesday announced plans to relaunch its NielsenMedia.com Web site Nov. 21. A promo e-mailed to clients Tuesday said the new site was more than just a redesign, but features substantially new functions including a "robust" search tool capable of locating "thousands of documents and materials," a Web-based calendar, an interactive TV history timeline, an interactive glossary of TV ratings terminology, and easier access to ratings information.
