Clear Channel Accelerates Digital Radio Rollout

Radio broadcasting giant Clear Channel Communications Monday said it would upgrade 200 stations to transmit digital radio capable of delivering CD-quality music. The rollout represent three times the number Clear Channel originally planned. The company said it plans to upgrade 95 percent of its 1,200 stations to digital by 2007. -- Joe Mandese
