TXU, Current Partner For Broadband Over Power Lines

Utility company TXU Corp. has partnered with Current Communications Group--which earlier this year received $100 million from Google, Hearst, and Liberty Media Corp.--to develop broadband service over power lines in Texas. The service will be rolled out to about 2 million Texas customers starting next year.
