Despite several published reports last week that hinted at the possibility of Fox hiring Conan O'Brien away from NBC, it's "pretty much a safe bet" that the "Late Night" talk show host will stay where
he is, NBC spokeswoman Rebecca Marks said Monday. NBC is negotiating with O'Brien on a contract. Although Fox could offer O'Brien an 11 p.m. time slot as opposed to the 12:35 a.m. one he's occupying
now, the possibility of any change is reportedly remote.
