Radio Biggie Emmis Cuts Deal With dMarc, Cites Access To Google's Advertisers

  • January 25, 2006
Weeks after online search giant Google took control, dMarc Broadcasting Tuesday said radio broadcasting giant Emmis Communications will install dMarc's RevenueSuite automated advertising solution in all of its stations throughout North America. Emmis is the ninth largest radio station group in the U.S. The system works directly through each radio station's digital automation systems to automatically insert paid commercials into open and unsold slots. Emmis Vice President for Radio Operations Val Maki specifically cited Google as a component of the deal, noting, "The partnership we've formed with dMarc gives Emmis potential access to new revenue through thousands of advertisers on the Google system." -- Joe Mandese
