Broadband entertainment network Heavy.com closed a $10 million financing round with Polaris Venture Partners and Allen & Co, the company announced Monday. Heavy.com will use the money to create and
publish new content designed specifically for online and mobile consumption, and to launch MyHeavy.com, a broadband community site, and Teriyaki Strips, a second broadband site, which is a spin-off of
a popular Heavy.com channel.
