LinkShare Founders Resign

  • February 10, 2006
The brother-and-sister team that founded affiliate marketing firm LinkShare, Heidi and Stephen Messer, this week announced their resignations from the company. They will be succeeded by Steven Denton--formerly the senior vice president for client development and distribution services. Denton will report to John Kim, CEO of Rakuten USA, which in September 2005 purchased the company for $425 million. Denton joined LinkShare in 2000, coming from FedEx Corporate Services, where he served as the managing director for sales for the New York and New Jersey regions.
