Contextual ad company ContextWeb today is expected to announce agreements with four newspaper publishers and corporations, expanding the ability of its ad network to target consumers across some 300 content categories from travel and health, computers and finance. The new partner publishers include Belo's Newspaper Group, which consists of five daily papers; the Newspaper Agency Corporation, which handles the advertising, printing, and circulation operations for The Salt Lake Tribune and Deseret Morning News; Morris Digital Works, a division of Morris Communications Company, which provides tools, technologies, consulting, and Web development services to Morris newspapers; and The Denver Newspaper Agency. Under the terms of these agreements, ContextWeb will display contextually relevant graphical and text advertisements across these publisher sites.
