Internet Radio Listening Inches Up During Week of August 26 According to MeasureCast, Inc., seventeen of The MeasureCast Weekly Top Internet radio stations recorded an increase in the
total time spent listening to their Webcasts, while 21 stations saw an increase in audience size. Since Jan. 6, 2002, the total time spent listening to Web radio stations measured by MeasureCast is
up 155 percent. Since Jan. 1, 2001, the total time spent listening has increased 749 percent.

The peak listening day was
Wednesday, Aug. 28, with 19% of all listening occurring on this day. Internet radio listening is primarily a work-hour phenomenon, with 80% of all on-line listening occurring between 5 a.m.
Pacific and 5 p.m. Pacific. 10% of the week's listening took place over the weekend. 28% of Internet radio listeners were between the ages of 25 and 34. 57% were younger than 35, 29% were
younger than 25, and 7% were older than 55. 70% of listeners were men; 30% were women. In the U.S., 32% of listeners resided in the South; 30% in the West, 20% in the Northeast, and 18%

And, August audience data from MeasureCast indicated that 1,309 stations streamed a combined total of
40,882,596 hours of entertainment, which was nearly 1.3 million hours more than these stations delivered in July. The August report also shows that 5.1 million people listened to Web radio stations
measured by MeasureCast last month, up from 4.6 million listeners in July, and 4.3 million people in June. Find out more here.
