Univision Communications, which previously cut a deal to include flagship Spanish-language network Univision in Nielsen Media Research's general market national TV ratings service, Wednesday said its
fledgling TeleFutura network would also become a part of the Nielsen Television Index. With the move, effective Feb. 27, TeleFutura joins Univision and NBC Universal's Telemundo network, which will
appear alongside Anglo networks like ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in Nielsen's ratings. To date, TeleFutura has relied on ratings from the Nielsen Hispanic Television Index, Nielsen's Spanish-language
sample.
