SCOTTSDALE, AZ - Creative poster child Crispin Porter + Bogusky added yet another honor to its heavily laden awards portfolio, taking home the 2006 American Association of Advertising Agencies' O'Toole Award for Creative Excellence in the large-agency category. The awards, which were handed out at the AAAA's Management Conference for Agency CEOs here, honor across-the-board excellence at an agency. Agencies are judged based on multiple campaigns for multiple clients, not one outstanding effort for a particularly bold client. Crispin's winning work included television spots for Burger King, Miller and the Gap, an outdoor execution for Virgin Atlantic, and a print ad for the Miami Ad School. DDB and Cramer-Krasselt finished second and third, respectively, in the category honoring agencies with more than 300 employees. Other winners were as follows: Award for Offices With Between 100-300 Employees: First Place: Carmichael Lynch Second Place: Martin|Williams, Inc.
