Having found a hit in "Deal or No Deal," NBC will launch another game show from the same production company. Called "1 Versus 100" and from Endemol USA, the show features an individual answering
trivia questions while attempting to outwit a 100-member mob. The show continues the trend of networks taking the format of an overseas hit and trying to make it a success stateside. "1 Versus 100"
originated in Holland and has found success in Argentina and Germany, among other countries.
Since NBC moved "Deal or No Deal" to Mondays, the show has almost become its top-rated
show in the coveted 18-to-49 demo. With a 5.1 rating, it's just a tenth of a rating point behind long-time hit "ER."
