Lowrider Mag Gets Own Apparel Line

PRIMEDIA Enterprises, the publishing giant's licensing and direct-merchandising arm, has debuted a Lowrider Magazine line of urban apparel. The line debuted this week at the Spring 2004 MAGIC Apparel Show.

"Urban culture is making a profound impact on the current trends in the apparel market, and lowriding has been a significant influence on what's hot in the marketplace," said PRIMEDIA Enterprises president Jacqueline Blum in a press release. "We feel the Lowrider Magazine brand is distinct in its positioning and appeals to a new and emerging segment of the market."
