Gemstar-TV Guide Taps Napster's Cohen As CMO

Gemstar-TV Guide International has appointed Alan Cohen executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Cohen most recently served as chief marketing officer for online music company, Napster. Cohen will be responsible for brand management, licensing and merchandising, and corporate research. He will work closely with the marketing teams at the various Gemstar-TV Guide divisions in the development of the corporate brand, and in the formation of strategic marketing partnerships that will operate across platforms. - Amy Corr
