The long-rumored Fox news business news channel will launch by the middle of next year, a top securities firm said in a report issued Tuesday to shareholders. Citing comments by Fox News Chairman-CEO
Roger Ailes, UBS analyst Aryeh Bourkoff said the Fox Business Channel was slated for an early to mid-2007 launch. The new channel presumably would compete with NBC Universal's CNBC, which Ailes headed
before joining News Corp.'s Fox unit.
