Ford Motor Co. this morning unveiled details of a major interactive TV buy on EchoStar's DISH satellite TV network. The deal, which was handled by Turner Media Group, will give DISH subscribers a
chance to experience Ford's new 2007 model Mustang, Fusion and Five Hundred cars via a variety of interactive applications including "i-Ad" spots, which feature more than 15 different screens showing
various styles, colors and accessories of the cars. Automotive brands have been among the most aggressive at adopting interactive TV applications including satellite, video-on-demand, and even
broadband Internet.
