Report: Bollore Still Hot On Aegis Trail, Considering Bid

Havas Chairman Vincent Bollore is considering an offer to acquire U.K. rival Aegis Group. In an interview with Paris paper Les Echos the French financier said he is planning another meeting with Aegis shareholders in September to consider his representation on the Aegis board, as well as a potential combination between Havas and Aegis. A majority of Aegis shareholders rejected Bollore's bid to install two new board members to represent his 29.1 percent stake during Aegis' shareholders meeting earlier this month.
