  • June 27, 2006
In a bid to compete with elevator network Captivate, The Wall Street Journal is launching an ad-supported video news service in office buildings. The Wall Street Journal Office Network will offer business news, market indexes, and weather info on flat-panel LCD screens in prominent buildings in four major cities at launch. To be known as The WSJ Office Network, it will roll out in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, and Chicago, but expects to eventually go nationwide.
