CBS Gets Behind 'Big Brother' With Mobile Marketing, Internet Effort

CBS is offering a new and bigger marketing attack for this year's "Big Brother: All-Stars."

This includes streaming new episodes on CBS' broadband site innertube a day after the show's on-air CBS network debut. Also CBS will offer up a "Big Brother" mobile subscription package, with video clips, photos, breaking-news alerts, and insider summaries. Special film footage will be included in the mobile plan, which will be available to most wireless carriers. Fans can subscribe on CBS.com.

In addition, CBS and RealNetworks have renewed their video streaming deal for the show that will bring "Big Brother: All-Stars" to Internet users 24 hours a day.

RealNetworks' subscription service SuperPass will provide the unedited household activity of the show--video that is not seen on the show's CBS airing. This will cost fans $14.99 a month, or $39.99 for a discounted three-month subscription.

With the RealNetwork's deal, subscribers can watch streaming video from one of four live camera feeds from the "Big Brother: All-Stars" house, or see the action with a special quad-cam view, which allows fans to simultaneously see four different video feeds.

The service will also provide around-the-clock footage with blogs, chats, and message boards.
