Ana Marie Cox, who rose to fame as "Wonkette"--the snarky Washington insider who always seemed to have the inside scoop--is joining Time.com as its Washington editor, Time announced Thursday. Cox had
previously been a contributing writer for Time. She will assume her new post on July 31. As parent company Time Inc. navigates difficult financial terrain, execs may be looking to Cox to breathe new
life into Time.com with her edgy, Web-savvy sensibility.
