The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has appointed TBWAChiatDay Los Angeles as its advertising agency of record for the 79th Annual Academy Awards. This marks the first time that the
Academy has hired an agency to produce the telecast. The campaign will include TV, outdoor and print advertising.
