Play-Doh Turns 50

Hasbro celebrates "National Play-Doh Day" on Saturday as the classic modeling compound hits its 50th birthday. A new Web site at www.playdoh.com features creative games and a national promotion with Snip-its, a hair salon for kids. "Even in our high-tech world," says Leigh Anne Cappelo, vp of marketing for Hasbro's Preschool Brands, "kids still enjoy rolling out Play-Doh snakes, mixing colors and making Play-Doh animals."
