Torino Olympics, this was the show's most-watched telecast since Dec. 9, 2005 (7.51 million), and highest-rated among adults 25-54 since June 1, 2006 (also a 2.6). Comparably (and also excluding
Couric's final telecast), "Today" beat second-place "Good Morning America" on ABC (4.41 million) by 2.5 million viewers, its biggest advantage since Aug. 20, 2004.
