CBS has given a put pilot commitment to "The Man," starring rapper-turned-actor LL Cool J as an undercover LAPD cop raising three adopted kids. "CSI" creator Anthony Zuiker is behind "The Man," which
will combine elements of the procedural and character-driven drama. Cool J's work as a cop is the show's foundation; his home life unfolds in a more serialized fashion.
