Former WB Network chairman Garth Ancier is staying in the Warner Bros. family. Sources said Ancier is finalizing a multiyear deal with Warner Bros. TV Group to develop network, cable and first-run syndicated shows for the WBTG divisions Warner Horizon and Telepictures Prods. Ancier will develop the projects through his production banner, the Garth Ancier Co. As part of the deal, Ancier also will oversee Warner Bros.' interest in In2TV--the broadband network AOL and Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution launched this year. In2TV offers free, ad-supported episodes of series from the Warner Bros. library, including "Welcome Back, Kotter" and "Growing Pains."
