Washington D.C. police arrested the director of human resources for the conservative daily newspaper
The Washington Times, charging him with attempting to entice a minor on the Internet. A
police affidavit said Randall Casseday, 53, instigated an online chat room conversation with what he thought was a 13-year-old girl, but was actually a male undercover member of the DCPD Internet
Crimes Against Children Task Force. Following an email exchange of photographs and sexually explicit conversation, Casseday went to meet the "girl" in person and was arrested. The newspaper has placed
him on unpaid leave pending the results of an investigation.
