King World's "Rachael Ray" continued to lead among new syndicated shows by a wide margin during the week ended Oct. 8. "Ray" scored a 2.0 national household rating, which includes live viewing plus
same-day viewing via digital video recorders, according to Nielsen Media Research. It was down 5 percent from the week before, but the drop was hardly unusual for the week. Compared with the same
period last year, few shows in first-run syndication made gains. All talk shows, courtroom shows and game shows were down or flat.
