DaveTV Launches B2B Video Platform
Oct 25, 2006, 6:00 AM
Aiming to stake a bigger claim in the video-sharing market, Dave Networks, which runs video-sharing site DaveTV, has started a white label service that allows businesses to create custom video sites. The business-to-business platform lets organizations set up community sites with social features such as profile pages, blogs and user-generated video tailored to particular brands or affinity groups. The move comes several weeks after Dave.TV launched a service that allows users to install personalized versions of the video portal on their own Web sites. The enterprise offering encompasses a suite of Dave Networks applications, including its content delivery and social broadcast systems and its Flash-based MyTVBox media player. MGM's Stargate SG-1, R&B band Earth, Wind and Fire, and the Urban Sports League are among the early adopters of the company's new B2B platform.
