Answers.com, which offers free access to reference material from 100 different encyclopedias, dictionaries, and other sources, has partnered with Yahoo Answers to syndicate the portal's user-written
answers to submitted questions. Answers.com users can now view Yahoo Answers' question-and-answer content from Answers.com's pages, and can click through to Yahoo to ask additional questions. In
October, Answers.com
struck a deal with CBS.com to syndicate its reference content into news
articles, and
forged a similar deal with the New York Times in September.
