Search giant Google Tuesday introduced a new tool for news sites that allows publishers to upload an XML sitemap of their pages and control which pages are indexed by the Google News crawlers. Google
released its first sitemapping tool in June, and
introduced a joint effort with rival search engines MSN and Yahoo to standardize site-mapping and
indexing tools on Nov. 17.
