International media content provider Global Broadcast Networks (GBN) and China National Radio's Web portal CNR.CN are launching a new dedicated UK soccer Web site in Mandarin. The site covers UK football, and will support the show "UK Soccer Review / Yingchao Fengyunlu." GBN, a British media company, provides content, sponsorship and advertising. The program is broadcast on CNR Voice of China, the most-listened to radio station in the world. The Web site is: www.cnr.cn/sports/tyzt/uksoccer/. Sky Media has also been appointed to provide advertising and sponsorship services for the Web site along with advertising and sponsorship of the UK Soccer Review program on a global basis. The weekly half-hour radio broadcast is on-air 52 weeks a year, for a planned three years.
