The Newspaper Association of America Friday predicted that online ad spending at newspapers will total $3.2 billion next year--marking a 22% increase from this year, according to a report in
Forbes.com. Analyst Jim Conaghan, NAA vice president of business analysis and research, also reportedly predicted that total ad spending at U.S. newspapers will grow just 1.2% next year. The NAA is
expected to issue a full report today at the UBS Global Media & Communications Conference in New York.
