Calacanis Joins Sequoia Capital

Jason Calacanis, ex-general manager of AOL's Netscape, is joining venture investment firm Sequoia Capital as an "entrepreneur in residence." Calacanis left AOL about two weeks ago, after the company ousted chairman Jonathan Miller in favor of NBC Universal's Randy Falco. Calacanis in 2004 founded blog company Weblogs, which he sold to AOL for $25 million last year.
