Interactive television provider OpenTV announced a long-term relationship with M@gicBox to power the deployment of the first interactive television service on credit card-assigned advanced set-top
boxes. This relieves network operators of the capital cost of funding the set-top boxes. OpenTV will provide M@gicBox with a broad range of services and products including its world leading
middleware, OpenTV Core 1.1, OpenTV Enterprise Solutions, featuring OpenTV Account and OpenTV Advertise products, as well as its professional services capabilities.
