Nielsen: Internet Fuels Ad Spending Growth

Internet ad spending jumped 49.2% in the first nine months of the year, helping fuel an overall increase of 5.1%, according to new data by Nielsen Monitor-Plus. The top 10 advertisers spent a collective $12.9 billion across all media, marking a 4.3% increase over the first nine months of 2005, according to Nielsen.
