With the awards season ramping up, ABC is showing its creative strength by getting 11 nominations for the 2007 Golden Globe Awards--the most of any broadcast network.

ABC was only bested by HBO, which had 14, coming mostly from long-form series such as "Elizabeth I," "Mrs. Harris" and "Tsunami, The Aftermath."

ABC's efforts were highlighted by four nominations for "Grey's Anatomy" and two for "Ugly Betty." NBC came in with nine nominations, which included nods to three of its new shows: "Heroes," "30 Rock" and "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip." Fox earned three: two for "24" and one for "House." CBS had one for Julia Louis-Dreyfus for "The New Adventures of Old Christine."

Showtime perked up with a solid six nominations, highlighted by "Weeds," which grabbed four, and one each for Michael C. Hall ("Dexter") and Michael Ealy ("Sleeper Cell: American Terror").
