John Stratton was named EVP/CMO of Verizon Communications, a new position. He had been CMO of Verizon Wireless. In his new role, effective Jan. 1, Stratton is responsible for marketing and branding of
all Verizon's business units. Mike Lanham, who had been president of Verizon Wireless' Florida region, becomes the new CMO of Verizon Wireless.
