NewsStand Names New Clients, New Director of Mag Sales

NewsStand, Inc. is now providing digital delivery of Dow Jones & Company titles The Asian Wall Street Journal and the Far Eastern Economic Review (The Review). NewsStand, Inc. started marketing the titles in late February 2004, following a successful partnership with another Dow Jones' business title, Barron's. The company is also providing digital production and delivery to USA Today Sports Weekly.
Additionally, Richard "Chip" Berry has joined NewsStand as director of magazine sales for North America with responsibility for expanding the company's inventory of magazine titles for digital delivery. Berry will lead an effort to expand the number of magazine titles that NewsStand offers for digital delivery by 200 percent in 2004. Prior to joining NewsStand, Berry served as president of consulting company Summit Media Group. He also served as executive group publisher for Chemical Week Associates and as an adjunct professor at Pace University in New York City.
