Study: 57% Use Online Drugstores

Around six in 10 Web users--or 57%--say they've made purchases from online drug stores, while 32% report making purchases at least monthly, according to new research by research firm Questus. While the online purchasers outnumbered the brick-and-mortar-only consumers, a significant proportion of consumers--more than four in 10--fell into the latter category. Why? Fifty-seven percent said they didn't want to wait for their products to arrive, 48% said it was easier to go to a store, and 47% cited high shipping costs. For the report, Questus surveyed 525 adults from its research panel.
