MediaSpan Grows Local News Site Network

MediaSpan's Network business unit has added nearly a dozen additional newspaper and television Web sites to its network of over 1,200 local Web site affiliates, the company said Monday. Recently added MediaSpan Network partners include daily newspapers: The Orange County Register, Omaha World Herald, The Hour Newspapers (Norwalk, CT), and Rhode Island's Valley Breeze. The MediaSpan Network represents over 100 local Web sites in the top 25 U.S. markets and over 200 in the top 50 U.S. markets. Advertisers have the ability to buy one market, or one thousand markets, through a single point of contact. MediaSpan presently powers digital content management and online marketing solutions for the world's leading media companies including Reuters, ABC Radio, Sun Media, Gannett, Radio One, Scripps and Media General.
