The Wall Street Journal Online has launched the latest version of its mobile Web site. Subscribers will have access to full-length articles on the site, which is powered by a mobile platform developed
by startup mDog. The company has also developed mobile sites for media companies including Forbes, Crain Communications and LiveJournal. Users can access the WSJ.com mobile site directly or through
mdog.com, which serves as a mobile hub for top news sites and popular online services such as craigslist and eBay. An mDog executive said that advertising, including banners and text ads, is expected
to be launched on the WSJ.com mobile site in the coming weeks.
