The American Association of Advertising Agencies Wednesday said its advisory board nominated Tom Carroll, worldwide president of TBWAWorldwide, to serve a one-year term as vice chairman of the AAAA board of directors. The vice chairman's term begins at the AAAA Management Conference for Agency CEOs, April 18 to 20 at the Ritz-Carlton, Naples, Florida. The advisory committee also nominated four new directors-at-large, including Starcom MediaVest Group CEO Renetta McCann, to serve three-year terms beginning in April and expiring in 2010. The other directors-at-large nominees, McCann-Erickson USA President Brett Gosper, JWT NY President Rosemarie Ryan, and Publicis USA Chairman-CEO Susan Gianinno, will join a group of eight directors-at-large whose terms are still current.
