Clorox, TV Land Promote Family, Cookouts

Clorox this week began a promotion that will run through May 13 and that offers the winners an "All-Star Family Block Party" plus $5,000.
Partnering with TV Land, the maker of Kingsford Charcoal, KC Masterpiece sauces, Hidden Valley dressing and Glad products is inviting families to write essays about their exceptional talents and favorite group activities and submit a photo showcasing the family's talents.
Consumers can enter via the TV Land Web site, where the contest is prominently featured or by mail.
Headquarters in Oakland, Calif., Clorox is a leading manufacturer and marketer of consumer products with fiscal year 2006 revenues of $4.6 billion.
