Hasbro, the Pawtucket, R.I., toy maker, is launching a line of Spider-Man inspired toys timed with the premiere of Columbia Pictures' "Spider-Man 3" on May 4.

To promote the line of toys, games, and collectibles, which hit store shelves now, Hasbro on Saturday did a "Spider Reminder" wake-up call for consumers who registered at Hasbro.com/spiderman.

At the site, Hasbro is running a "Secret of the Symbiote" contest. One hundred of the packages for the new Spider-Man toys have codes on them. Those who buy the packages with the codes and enter them within the contest microsite win prizes.

Via a cross-promotion with Marvel Comics, consumers can also submit questions on the Hasbro site to Spider-Man creator Stan Lee, who will post answers to selected questions on the site on Thursday.
