In this new position, Morton will be responsible for driving GE-Global Media & Communications' business strategy, and for developing commercial and marketing initiatives. He will also spearhead the expansion of financial products and services that will fully meet the needs of the business unit's most critical asset--GE customers.
Morton was recently the chief marketing leader for GE Healthcare Financial Services, where he worked to bring new products to customers. He joined GE 10 years ago as a vice president of sales, asset securitization. Prior to GE, Morton gained more than 14 years of experience in the media and communications sector during his tenure at Barclays Capital.
