Tulsa To Become 56th Metered Market

  • September 25, 2003
Nielsen Media Research said Wednesday that Tulsa, Okla., will become the 56th metered market in April 2004. This set-tuning meter service will allow the local market to have television audience estimates electronically measured and reported the next day. It's the 60th ranked market in the U.S., with 505,000 television households. The metered service will launch with 300 sample households in April 2004, expanding to 400 by April 2005. Clients that have committed to support meters include KWBT (WB affiliate), KOTV (CBS), KOKI (FOX), KTFO (UPN), KJRH (NBC) and Cox Media, a cable system.
