Greenlight's Sponsored Mobile Ads Doing Well

Mobile ad provider Greenlight Wireless Corp. said its new three-week-old sponsored listings service has seen a daily click-through rate (CTR) for the publisher-created copy ranging from 1.0% to 3.1% daily. Users who click on that copy are brought to a keyword-generated ads landing page, where the CTR has been at 44.1%. Initial trials were based on one to 7 million searches daily, with an average cost-per-click of $0.37.

Greenlight's Advertizer mobile advertising service, launched in 2004, serves mobile ads in over 175 countries.
