Fox's 'Lot' Off Mark, CBS Reruns Score

Fox's "On the Lot" sure seems off the mark.

The reality show, which pits new filmmakers against one another, fell again to a barely visible Nielsen preliminary 1.3 rating/4 share in adult 18-49 viewers on Sunday.

The Steven Spielberg-Mark Burnett-produced show is sinking fast--it had been at a 2.1 last week following "So You Think You Can Dance?" The previous week it hit 3.9, following "American Idol."

The summer doldrums appear to have taken hold in the ratings area again--even discounting for the usual day-after Memorial Day weekend drop. New reality shows have yet to make their mark. ABC has only earned a 2.0 for "Ex-Wives Club" at 9 p.m. NBC pulled in a 1.5 for the already cancelled "The Real Wedding Crashers" at 8 p.m.

The only highlight goes to CBS, whose rerun programming philosophy continues to do well. CBS had the top three-rated shows for the night--and all are reruns. "Two and a Half Men" earned a 3.4/9; "King of Queens" grabbed a 3.0/8; and "CSI: Miami" pulled in with a 2.9/8.

CBS won the night with a 2.7/8. ABC and NBC tied at a 2.1/6; Univision earned a 1.6/4; and Fox was next, at 1.3/4. CW came in at 0.7/2.

ABC's best came with an original episode of "Wife Swap," at a 2.3/7 in 18-49 at 8 p.m. NBC's best came with the "Miss Universe Pageant" at a 2.4/7, which was well below last year's numbers.
