ABC News is expected to lay off 35 jobs, the first stage in a two-year revamp of the division. Two newsmagazines--"20/20" and "Primetime"--are earmarked for big cuts. An ABC memo says part of the exercise was to "...re-design the division to reflect the growing importance of our digital offerings--and their centrality to our future."
