Marketing/production veteran Lisa Padilla has joined audio social network BlogTalkRadio as vice president of marketing. Based in San Francisco, Padilla will oversee advertising, publicity, corporate marketing and partnerships.

Padilla was most recently a consultant to such clients as Yahoo, Philips Electronics, EMI, AOL, Netgear and Marriott. Prior to that, she was client services and production director for EURO RSCG, and a producer at Netscape Communications/AOL. She began her career at Foote, Cone & Belding.

BlogTalkRadio, launched last August, said it currently has more 14,000 archived radio shows, and 1,700 "citizen" hosts.
